Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PeaceWheel, a mobile application and service provided by Thick Rim LLC ("Thick Rim", "we", "us", or "our"). By installing, accessing, or using PeaceWheel, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum legal driving age in your jurisdiction) and hold a valid driver's license to use PeaceWheel.

You authenticate with PeaceWheel through Sign in with Apple. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Safe Driving and Automotive Responsibility

Your safety and the safety of everyone on the road is the absolute priority. By using PeaceWheel, you explicitly agree that:

• You will start drives, review encounters, and wave back only when your vehicle is safely stopped and parked.
• You will never engage in reckless, aggressive, or distracted driving behaviors to pursue encounters, waves, or streaks.
• You will obey all applicable federal, state, and local motor vehicle regulations, speed limits, and laws regarding mobile device usage.
• Thick Rim LLC assumes no liability for traffic tickets, fines, vehicle damage, bodily injury, or accidents resulting from your operation of a vehicle or failure to maintain safe driving practices.

3. Consensual Interaction & Privacy

PeaceWheel is built on mutual respect and consent:

• Encounters are matched anonymously, revealing only vehicle specs ("White JL Rubicon").
• Personal identity details (first name, handle, vehicle photo) are unlocked only if both drivers independently choose to tap "Wave Back".
• There is no in-app direct messaging, private chat, or real-time location broadcast.
• You may block any driver or report inappropriate content directly from any encounter screen.

4. User Content & Community Guidelines

You may upload an optional vehicle photo and provide a display name or nickname. You retain ownership of your content, but grant Thick Rim LLC a non-exclusive license to host and display it within PeaceWheel in accordance with your privacy choices.

You agree that you will not upload or share content that:

• Contains obscenity, nudity, violence, hate speech, or sexually suggestive imagery.
• Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or personal privacy of others (including unauthorized license plates or recognizable faces without consent).
• Promotes illegal activity, dangerous driving stunts, street racing, or harassment.

Thick Rim LLC reserves the right to review, moderate, and remove any content or suspend any account that violates these standards.

5. Trademark and Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

PeaceWheel is an independent enthusiast application created by Thick Rim LLC.

Jeep®, Wrangler, Rubicon, Gladiator, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and related logos, model designations, and trade dress are registered trademarks of FCA US LLC. PeaceWheel and Thick Rim LLC are not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by FCA US LLC or Stellantis N.V. Any references to trademarks, vehicle models, or trims are used solely for nominative identification and descriptive compatibility purposes.

6. Termination and Account Deletion

You may terminate your account at any time directly in the app by navigating to Settings → Delete account. Upon deletion, your profile, vehicle card, photo, XP, and badges will be permanently erased.

Thick Rim LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, manipulate encounter metrics fraudulently, or compromise the safety of our community.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

PeaceWheel is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the encounter engine will detect every passing vehicle, that GPS accuracy will be uninterrupted, or that the service will be error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Thick Rim LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, property damage, bodily injury, or loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use PeaceWheel.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
